Very excited today! Huddersfield Town are in the semi-finals of the play offs and we’re going to watch the first leg at The Galpharm Stadium today 🙂 KO 12.15pm and it’s on the tele!! Come on Town!!!
FT: Huddersfield 0 – 0 Millwall
Town just have to show what they’re made of on Tuesday night now. Come on Town! You can do this!!
We’ve taken the plunge and decided to go for it. We’re finally going to RUN 10k in Manchester’s Heaton Park on 10th July 2010. Hopefully we can ‘do our bit’ for Cancer Research UK and reach our target of £200!
You can sponsor us here. Any help is very much appreciated.
Check back for the evidence! 🙂
What a day! Absolutely fantastic!! I’m a little bit tipsy and had the best day out in ages. Annie (birthday girl), my Mum and Myself got the train from Denby Dale to Manchester for £10 each = bargain!
We started off in Cafe Nero. You know, a bit of caffeine to get you in the mood. We needed it because we knew the Guinness was on its way being Paddys day and all that. Annie wanted to get her birthday money spent before it went on bills and the shopping so she got some new Converse trainers. The staff in the store were shite but we’d already been in Next and the clothes still didn’t fit after losing 2 stone so we quickly forgave the staff in the trainer store ;-). We thought it was about time we had a pint of Guinness and found Waxys Irish bar in The Printworks. We had some proper good old fashioned family chat like Irish families should on days like this, I’m 1/8 Irish you know (any excuse :)). We ventured on after a pint, I find Guinness a bit filling like food. We found Boots and Annie got some lovely smelling perfume. The Guinness had really got us in the mood so we thought spending the rest of the day in a bar was the best plan so off to Canal Street we went.
Fantastic night with fantastic company, we had a brilliant day, the walk home from the station was a bit of a drag after a few pints though 😉
Oh yeah, and my Mum thought we were still on early dark nights till we told her she was going through a tunnel!! LOL Xx
Well, what a lovely day and I’m not even a Mum!
We visited Annie’s Mum this afternoon for a little light lunch, basically a picnic which was delicious. We’d invited my Mum and Mick round for dinner and said make sure you’re here for 4pm. As usual they got lost. Every time they come over my Mum says “I’ll definitely know the way this time”, but I always get that phone call “now where do we turn again? I think we’re lost”. They have a sat nav but never seem to use it when travelling to ours (yes .. crazy I know .. I give up! lol). Annie made dinner as I can’t cook, well I can cook but not as well as Annie. I thought it would be a good idea for me to provide the entertainment instead 😉 The meal was totally amazing and we had sticky toffee pud for afters, yeah baby!
Whoop! How exciting, I’ve been meaning to do this for months and now I’ve done it, set up a blog! Don’t expect it to be hitting the top 100 list of blog posters because I can guarantee it won’t, in fact it probably won’t be updated much, this is because I’m quite boring really and very rarely have anything interesting to say. I’m just using this blog as a place for all my social networking sites in one place and also it’s part of my OU course that I’m studying.
Anyway, my plans for today. I’m going to watch Huddersfield Town this afternoon and tonight we have our friend Ruth staying over. Chinese for tea, or if you’re from darrrn sarrrrrf Chinese for dinner (you’re a weird lot).
Ciao for now!
Much love xxx
